CHEERLEADING
OUR CHEER PROGRAMS
No cheer or dance experience is required. All cheers (including the Aurora fight song) and a short half-time dance will be taught during practices throughout the season. Girls of all cheer/dance abilities are welcome!
All girls will receive a uniform and a bow for the season.
All girls will have an opportunity to participate in all AYFA football activities.
All girls will receive recognition after the season is complete.
NON-TACKLE FOOTBALL CHEERLEADING
Available to students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade
$125 registration fee for the season
All equipment is provided
3 practices each week for the first 2 weeks of the season
1-2 practices each week for the rest of the season
All games are played on Sunday
All games are played in Aurora
AYFA Participation T-Shirts given at the end of the year
TACKLE FOOTBALL CHEERLEADING
Available to students in 4th grade, 5th grade, or 6th grade
$125 registration fee for the season ($150 for 6th Grade - includes custom warmup jacket)
All equipment is provided
3 practices each week for the first 2 weeks of the season
1-2 practices each week for the rest of the season
The girls travel with their assigned football teams and get to experience cheering in front of home and away crowds

OPTIONAL: join the new competition cheer team with additional competition practice dates:
4th Grade: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
5th grade: Tuesdays & Thursdays
6th Grade: Mondays
seeking COACHES
We are also looking for coaches to help guide our girls throughout the season! Again, no cheer or dance experience is required, just a good attitude and Aurora spirit! If you are interested in coaching, please indicate so on your daughter’s registration!
